Albert Guinovart, piano

Albert Guinovart

The composer and pianist Albert Guinovart represents the perfect balance between his different facets, highlighting composition, orchestration, teaching and performance, both of the great classical-romantic repertoire and his extensive piano catalog. His works have been premiered in prestigious halls all over the world by distinguished performers, orchestras, and conductors.

His prolific work includes the composition of two operas, Atzar and Alba Eterna, a ballet, six musicals, a large portfolio of orchestral works, as well as symphonic choral works, and an extensive production of chamber music repertoire, the piano being a steady companion from the beginning of his career to the present.

He has recorded, to date, over sixty albums, many of them released by prestigious record labels such as EMI, DECCA, Harmonía Mundi or SONY CLASSICAL, both of the repertoire for which he is a reference, Joaquín Turina, Enric Granados, Isaac Albéniz, Joaquín Rodrigo, as well as his own compositions.
