Ensemble Rona is a chamber music ensemble that embodies the essence of versatility and artistic complicity. It is characterized by the flexibility of its formations, addressing both the most emblematic works and the spirit of the musical evenings of yore.

Formed at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, each of its members brings a solid artistic experience: Juan Barahona combines his pedagogical side at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía with an intense career as soloist and chamber musician; Montserrat Egea is cello soloist of the Spanish National Orchestra since 2022; and Valerie Steenken holds the position of concertmaster in the same orchestra.

Their most recent performances include a participation in the Schubertiada de Valdegovía and an upcoming Latin American tour in August 2025.
