Nikolai Lugansky is a pianist of great depth and versatility, renowned for his interpretations of Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Chopin and Debussy. He has performed with the world's leading orchestras and conductors and has made award-winning recordings. In 2023, he performed a complete Rachmaninov cycle.

CRAFTS MARKET AND WINE TASTING IN BRIONES
DATE: Saturday, May 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Around the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Briones
EXPERIENCE:
Disfruta del encanto medieval de Briones y de sus edificios de interés a través de las diferentes actividades medievales que os ofrecemos:

- Guided tour of Briones, 11:00 a.m.: Discover the historical and patrimonial heritage treasures of this medieval town, where every corner will surprise you.
- Painting exhibit at the Casa de Cultura, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Be amazed by this eclectic painting exhibit, where the artist, a native of Briones, uses young wines from the villages represented in her images instead of paint. The exhibition consists of pictures of the most emblematic places of La Rioja painted with wine and can be visited during all the days of the festival at the Casa de la Cultura in Briones.
- Crafts market, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: We offer a short sample of the Briones Medieval Festival through its artisans, presenting a small crafts market with different stalls selling products such as cheese, sausages, jam, chocolate, jewellery, soaps, wool and leather textile products.
- Activities for the younger ones: After the concert, and at the same time as the crafts market and the tasting, the children will be able to take part in an oil painting workshop on easels.
- Wine and tapas tasting, 2:00 p.m.: All attendees can enjoy a glass of wine from one of the wineries of Briones and a tapa offered by the bars of the municipality.
Note: These experiences are free for all concert ticket holders and do not require prior registration.
